Mapping VoIP, another perspective

The men in white hats over at VoIP User have compiled an interesting list of their top countries by outbound minutes since the start of the year. It's interesting that seven of the top 10 are in Europe. As I said last week in Stockholm, Europe could be said to be driving the VoIP revolution, or maybe it's more appropriately termed "devolution", or maybe even "micro-devolution." Intriguing that we see Poland punching so much above its weight in these numbers, as is the case with Skype users. I also find interesting Dean's comments below the original post that the usage seems to be, as he and co-founder TJ had intended, more of a labotatory/test bed for developers, and a paddling pool for converts to VoIP.
